About Us

What we offer

An inclusive school for children of all faiths, cultures and backgrounds

St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School which was established in 1989 and is located in Lake Munmorah within the Diocese of Broken Bay.

We welcome students from all faiths, backgrounds and abilities. Our dedicated learning centre, The Hive, caters for K-2 students with learning difficulties with the aim of transitioning them to mainstream classes from Year 3. We also have a specialist teacher who works with students who are ready for extension and acceleration.

We currently have approximately 500 students enrolled, with 22 classes from K-6.

Our leafy, extensive grounds, modern facilities and our focus on sustainability and stewardship all enhance the dynamic learning experiences on offer at St Brendan’s.

Wellbeing for success

Our aim at St Brendan’s is to supplement the efforts of parents in providing a total education for students. When a child’s wellbeing needs are met, they can achieve their best. We are focused on each child’s wellbeing including physical, emotional, social intellectual and spiritual elements.

United with parents and the parish, we encourage our students to live our the Christian values and faith. Our school motto, “Alive in Christ” is evident in all we strive to achieve at St Brendan’s.

School prayer

Dear Lord, together we come to praise you for the natural beauty you surround us with,

The families we belong to and the happiness in our lives.

We pray that you will always keep us close to you each and every day,

As we grow in faith and knowledge. Help us to become

“Alive in Christ”,

Caring for others, doing our best, and spreading the Good News, just like St Brendan.

Bless us today with Your Spirit.

Amen
